I know this is a very small detail, but this is to all of the musicians out there. If you notice in yiay (the original), when he says “and I’ll pick my favorites” at 0:43, he starts at the mediant, or the 3rd scale degree, and then proceeds to go down to the supertonic, tonic, subdominant, up to the submediant. However, in literally every other rendition, let’s take lwiay for example, when he says “and I’ll watch submissions” at 0:56, he starts at the dominant, or the 5th scale degree, and then goes down to the tonic, dominant, and then up to the tonic. This just kind of bothers me because all of the people who did parodies obviously did parodies of pewdiepie’s rendition since their melody in that section copies his, instead of Jack’s, which is the original and the only one that is different
