One Dead in Shooting in Boston's South End

One person is dead following a shooting in Boston's South End neighborhood on Saturday night.
Boston Police responding to reports of a person shot around 10pm in the area of 58 W. Dedham St found an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officers established a crime scene in the parking lot of the rear of 58 West Dedham Street where multiple shell casings were marked with evidence markers. Detectives and crime scene investigators could be seen searching the area around the parking lot and photographing the scene, including the front of the homes along W. Dedham Street.
