Perfect trail to learn gap jumps on a mountain bike!

This trail is called Gravy Train and located at Duthie Hill Mountain Bike Park

A few weeks ago I was at this exact park (Duthie Hill, Washington), and I also got my first few jumps in on Gravy Train the same as you, but unfortunately I broke my collarbone a few days after that on HLC line. And now I'm just recovering watching YouTube:)

Also on the gap right after the break in the trail (the berm after the first 5 or 6 gap jumps) you need speed and you should even boost it a little as its really easy to case

This was my first time riding gaps; a friend towed me in and I actually hit the last one on my first try. As long as you don't psych yourself out going into it, it's actually pretty smooth to hit, but definitely intimidating. For whatever reason, I've had a lot more trouble doing it solo and I actually find myself going too fast.

Istg I spent 2 hours trying to get enough speed on that corner to clear the last one, the ones after look so easy I just can’t get past the low to high
