I went to a library today because I finally got Blackbird. I have been waiting Blackbird long time because the virus closed the libraries. The art is stunning and I hope I will love the story too.

I love the new Buffy graphic novel series. I absolutely adore Boom comics. Giant Days is my fave series but I decided to just give the new series a shot and I’m so glad I did. It’s so reminiscent of the 90’s for me and so to see it again but different is so fun. I love Jen Bartel’s artwork so much that when she announced her graphic novel series with Sam Humphries I preordered all the issues I could. I have the single issue comic they first put out framed on my wall because the art is just so beautiful.

The mask thing, I live in NYC and its like so many people think relaxed lock down means they don't have to even carry a mask now which is frustrating. But its not nearly as bad as what you described in York. I can't imagine the shock of coming from a small town and staying home for months to that.

Anyway, those Buffy comics look and sound so good. Must read. I am still struggling through the beginning of Assassin's Quest, lol.

I miss going to York!! My partner lives there but his family are shielding so I've not been able to see him in months and months, I miss it! I live no-where near any bookshops and don't really want to get the bus rn (and I can't drive) so I've been stuck looking longingly online at books lol

I have those buffy comics hanged on my wall! I got all the Wada variant covers (he's the one who did the Angel and Spike ones you showed). I love them so much I framed the first 4 volumes (buffy, willow, xander and giles)
