FlyOver Chicago immersive flying attraction coming to Navy Pier

In March of 2021, we learned that the Navy Pier IMAX theater would be closing for good. Now we know more about what is going in its place.

What is this, like a ripoff of Disney's Soarin' Ride?

I went on this yesterday, it was awesome! My only flaw is it could be a little longer. Even if it was just 2 minutes longer. It was about 8 minutes long.

Not a great investment, you can find these in freaking hotels. Being 70mm IMAX back to Chicago! It was one the rarest projection/screen's in the world. No, the one at Regal North is a smaller screen and can't project movies in a 1.43:1 ratio which is largest aspect ratio for any movie format. I'm disappointed that people don't realize how truly special this theater was.
