Come on autoguide... don't go down the path of random sponsored ad spots. You can't expect anyone to take this seriously when you compare the Sailus to a "miystery" tire... That's literally a joke of a test.

Why not tell us what tire it was benchmarked against so we can decide for ourselves how good the test was?

I thought it was a low quality Chinese brand but I have been using the brand on work vehicles for 2 years and they are very durable. They are not as good as other better known brands but I guarantee that for their price they are a good product, they will last and they will not burst.

I don't think I see a corner that pushes the car beyond reasonable limits…

And Real World Senareio is different for everyone. That's why sport daily tires exists? I think.
Driving at 30KMH or MPH can be a very valid use case for some vehicles. And I think the difference would be very small between even performance summer tires and all season tires.

I'm not too sure why break fade is a factor in this comparison, they are mounted on 2 separate test vehicles.
And you probably want to test both at the same condition?
Cold or Slightly Warmed Up. (Warmed Up to the Same Condition?)

Not sure if scrubbing the side of the tires would affect performance, but I don't think it is optimal…

How are we supposed to trust this test as gospel if there's a "mystery tire"? For all we know, you could've used another Chinese tire like West Lake or the British Arivo.

I bought a set for my 2010 Outback they are surprisingly quiet and nice riding tire. Only negative I see so far is they seem to be physically heavier more unsprung weight for the suspension.

It's a shame they clearly were sponsored by this tire brand.

Tire tests on brand new tires are meaningless. Need to compare 4 year old tires with 45, 000 miles of wear, abuse, weather extremes, impacts, potholes, and UV light to see if it could make it even close to its 5 year (60 month) advertised life.

Sailun are just garbage tires. Previous owner installed on the car and they were VERY noisy. I spent hours looking for a failed bearings. At the end were the tires with only 10k Km. Dont waste your money on these chinese tires

Test comparison without data is just an opinion.

No, absolutely a no go on these types of tires. If you can't/won't buy Michelin or Continental just go with Kumho, Falken, hankook, bf goodrich, etc..

I had Sailun all-season tires and they were absolute garbage. Bad in the dry summer and outright dangerous in the snowy winter.

Wow... China is lining the pockets of AutoGuide now. Once these tires start to blow at highway speeds, we'll see if they pay AG to downplay.

Isnt it "Beyond reasonable limits" where the safety of the tire is needed???

The difference between a good tire 🛞 and another one that is NOT good is clearly seen in the wet performance.
