Love your take on this! I’ve got one I made for myself sitting by my feet on my flight home from New Jersey to San Diego as I watched the video. It’s the standard size and fits perfectly under the seat in front of me-it stands up and there’s room for my size 11 foot under the seat next to it! I added a piece of my webbing across the back pocket as a trolley sleeve and it worked great! I also added a zipper pocket to the lining and smaller gusseted pockets below the zipper opening. It’s a great travel/work bag!

Love your videos as always. I'm rewatchig this video because I'm making a second Oxbow Tote as a gift for my mom. She has Parkinson's disease and goes to the doctor a lot. I figured this would be a great bag for her to take to her appointments. She loved the design/fabric. The only thing i did differently was not use Lux Lite....it frays WAY too much for my liking😵‍💫. I love your tutorial, and yes this is an awesome beautiful bag. I just received my second paper pattern, and thinking about getting the acrylics for it. Your right, a great college bag, graduation coming up at our house this spring, I see many wonderful gifts ahead. But it is ALSO a great Go bag for the hospital or like us here in the Colorado Mtns. I like to carry a go bag when driving into the city since we go over 2 passes and well, I like being prepared.
