RunCam 2: remote control

This remote control module cable is necessary for RunCam 2 (with Firmware 1.5 and Android App V1.6/ iOS App V1.2) to take photos and start/stop recording remotely.

Can the Split still be powered with more than 5V on that USB connector?
I am using the Split 2S on an RC car, lots of power hungry servos are connected to the receiver already and I don't want to stress the main BEC too much. Since I'm using a voltage step up from 2S to 12V and another BEC for the video TX anyway, I'd like to use that power supply for the Split 2S as well while still being able to control it remotely. Thanks in advance!

Is there an update on this? Seems like a lot of folks want this item and it isn't in stock anywhere at all. Would be good to hear from RunCam about it.

Does video out working if I didn't connect power through cable? On my runcam2 AV-out is not working, but I didn't try to connect +- for external power source.

Just a shame you stopped selling the remote cable - i have 2 x runcam 3, 3 x runcam 2, and a runcam split - i used the remote cable on all of these. One of the cables stopped working so i tried to buy a replacement - you have stopped selling them!

My remote doesn't work, enabled the remote Mode in the OSD menu but still not doing anything, i did check the rx channel and its working with a normal servo so i don't know. I see on your video the green led blinking, but in my case it still solid and never blinking, any suggest?

Applied to a quad Flight Controller, inputted into the LED ports, then turning LEDs on & off would do the same function.

Huh what are you showing actually? Changing aspect ratio? Taking photo? On off video taking too?
