Craig is a scientist...when scientists get bored, they do crazy stuff like this to keep their brains occupied.

Craig's been inarching grafting multiple jackfruit tree seedlings onto his grafted jackfruit trees using an approach graft to encourage vigorous growth, wind resistance, and the possibility for multiple varieties of fruit from a single tree.

Materials needed:
Root Stock
Budwood

Wow! 😀 That's so fantastic Jackfruit! Since it has multiple rootstock, so it has many roots (root system), then it's capable to produce many fruits and at the same time can protect itself from the strong wind caused by Storm or Typhoon 🌀

How do you tell whether your inarch graft has taken?

Great video, I'm thinking of doing this for a Marang because of a severely damaged trunk.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you ever consider doing a video on inarching a mango tree? I heard you say mango seedling are more difficult!

Great video!
I have 4 small Jackfruit seedlings in a pot, can I graft small seedlings, or should I wait for their trunk to get bigger?
Also it will be great if you can post a video showing how to perform this grafting.
Thanks

Ausome it's best for jackfruit.worlds best species for multiple root grafting.its max trunks give more fruits.
I think below to upper at 5' joint is best and 10 trees combine also.
Space savings, more chances to servi, max trees in min field.
Chances to set world record for gardening.

Thanks for sharing. Would you say that the experiment work and there is an increased in vigor due to the multi root system?

Very interesting,

is seedling the best propagation mode for jackfruit ? i am considering implenting a jackfruit orchard but would like the tree to bear fruit rapidly. If grafting is the best method, it takes how long from seedling to grafting and to plantation ? thank you !
