How To Eat Biblically

"Eating biblically" is eating in accordance with biblical teachings. Here are some ways:

Moderation: The Bible often emphasizes moderation in all things, including food. Overindulgence and gluttony are discouraged.

Healthy Choices: Since the body is considered a temple in many religious traditions, including Christianity, some people might interpret eating biblically as choosing foods that nourish the body and promote health.

Gratitude: Giving thanks before meals is a common practice in many religious traditions. Expressing gratitude for the food you are about to eat can be seen as a way of honoring God's provision.

Fasting: Fasting is a practice mentioned in the Bible as a way of spiritual discipline. Some individuals may incorporate fasting into their eating habits as a way of drawing closer to God or seeking spiritual clarity.

How To Eat Like Jesus

According to the Bible, here are the foods that Jesus ate:

Bread: Bread, particularly unleavened bread, was a staple food in the region. It was typically made from wheat or barley and could be eaten with various toppings or as an accompaniment to meals.

Fish: Since Jesus lived near the Sea of Galilee, fish would have been a significant part of the diet for people in that region. Fish could be cooked in various ways, including grilling or baking.

Olives and Olive Oil: Olive trees were abundant in the Mediterranean region, and olives and olive oil were common ingredients in cooking.

Fruits and Vegetables: Various fruits and vegetables grown in the region would have been part of the diet, such as figs, dates, grapes, pomegranates, lentils, chickpeas, and cucumbers.

Herbs and Spices: Herbs and spices would have been used to flavor dishes, such as mint, parsley, cumin, and coriander.

Meat: Lamb and fish were among the meats that Jesus ate according to the Bible.

After doing the Daniel Fast and Esther Fast, I found that I really and truly do love the Biblical foods. For Easter I made the foods provided here such as lamb, etc. What I found out is that I actually really missed being on the Daniel Fast/Esther Fast! While I had foods that could be eaten off the Fasts, I found myself returning to my Fasting foods! I’ve just changed now and love Biblical foods!😊❤

I love bread and wine. I love all the raw fruits, veggies, and meats. I feel sickened by the over processed, over priced foods. I grow alot of vegies, hunt/fish for what I eat, even the grapes and elderberries for homemade wine. I hope and pray America gets back to strong faith, good values, common sense, and healthy foods....and be grateful 🙏

I really want to eat healthy but I can’t eat fruit and vegetables. Ever since I had covid my smell and taste have been awful. Don’t know what to do. They said there is no cure. Been like that for two years.
