I bought the Apple TV 4K 2021 last year to pair with my outdated Samsung dumb TV (1080 p, 2009 model). I recently bought a 4K Smart TV, a TCL Series 4 at a great price. It has HDR 10, but it looks washed out and dim - I guess it’s because it’s not a high end TV ( but for the price I’m not complaining). Thanks to the Apple TV I’m able to force 4K SDR and it looks much better

apple tv is fire but the fire stick which you can optimize to make it do alot more than it supposed to do
