Align sun to the stitching line, so both lenses compute and adjust to the same exposure. Especially when using auto as suggested in the beginning.

changing export settings to 4k in the studio app im told does close to nothing…5k is the 360 degree video…when exported in 16:9 or 9:16 format, you are cropping the footage down to around 1080..and that is why it is default at 1080 unless you export 360 degree footage then it will be 5k…thoughts?

Bonus tip (this is from my own experience): Experiment with choosing locations on your bike long before you start using it.

I own a '22 Super Cub and because of its style, your hard points for clamps are extremely limited. I have had to add my own hard points, like the luggage rack on the back, some "mirror bars" that you clamp phones to attached to the top box rack off the back. I also picked up a center rack that has a bar for mounting things on it, so I have lots of options.

I'm sure regular bikes are easier to manage in this case, but you want to try things out BEFORE you hit the road and find out where you've clamped onto isn't good enough or doesn't give you the right angle. I've watched videos of guys using zip ties to hold their sticks down, don't be a cheap SOB. You just spent $300-500 on a new camera, get yourself some proper mounting equipment.

This also includes learning to use your clamps properly. I have a double set of clamps and I have learned that when I loosen all six of the clamp nuts, I can swing the selfie stick around all over the place before I lock it in place.

used it for like 50 hours so far, my tips, forget about auto hrd shoot in log (too much artifacts in auto-hdr), buy the quick reader and edit on the phone. the desktop software is a pain. it has no auto-edit.

When extending the rod far away from the motorcycle, you should use two brackets to hold it. Doing this greatly reduces the shaking of the camera!

Great input for beginner like me! Thx! Question: Is there any way of making the horizon follow the lean angle? I want the horizon to tilt the same way a standard action cam does

Hey, I am stumbling over this video in search of a way to prevent stuttering when filming in very bright light, eg on the mountains. When I pan over a scenery it stutters so much. I have the feeling the camera shortens the shutter speed to not overexpose. At this point with a drone or proper camera you would put a nd filter on to retain the smooth video. Is there anything I can do in the camera settings or in post to get rid of it. Even the most advanced features for retiming in davinici resolve studio (optical flow+speedwarp) don't really help. Does 25fps vs 30fps differ much? I shot everything in 25fps to this point. Cheers!

How much record time do you get per battery? How many batteries and memory cards do you take when you ride? How big and what's a good memory card? Sorry for all of the questions, but I am thinking of getting one of these to record when I ride. I might have more questions later lol. Thanks for any info.

I have one question. I bought the X3 after watching some videos of You. But in my opinion the compression of the x3 is too high and the video quality is not as good as I expected. It looks great on a smartphone but looks terrible on a big screen.
Do You know if the 1inch 360RS delivers better results? If this is the case I will switch to this camera.
I like the 360 editing. Its only the quality in camparison to my other 4K cameras.

would it be better to use standard mode and use the Color Plus option in the studio or just choose vivid ? or is it pretty much the same thing?

Agree except with the max bitrate....that just makes your files very large....bitrate at 50 is good enough and you'll be hard pressed to notice a difference between that and max.

They are all excellent tips thank you.
I run the OneX2 on my motorbike with the lens covers on, I have replaced them twice now because I've scratched them. I don't trust myself not to drop the camera and damage the lens again. You don't have the lens covers on?
Oh I have a sticker on my tank bag reminding me to clean the bloody lenses 😅
