See Nvidia SSRTGI in League of Legends (feat. Witcher 3). It adds Screen Space Ray Traced Global Illumination to many supported games through Nvidia Freestyle. Unfortunately LoL is not supported but I managed to find a workaround!

Games like league already have baked ambient occlusion into the textures. There's almost 0 sense to use it in games like these even if the performance hit were minimal.

if you have 1080 native
upscale with DSR to 1.75 or 2.25 (2k or 4 k )
then use NIS to 77% or 85% as you want
in your game use DLSS quality and RTX ON xD

Who cares, if Riot Games don't implement Ray tracing officially, most people won't benefit from it, nerds doing workarounds doesn't change anything or help anybody...
