Hello Usui, to answer your question, No, I don't like that ladder at all. The loft seems small and not safe but I'm thinking if a person is sleeping up there and wakes up needing the toilet now they need to scramble down the ladder and then move that ladder before being able to even open the toilet door. No thanks.
I do like the shelving and hanging options in the downstairs 'office space' and there could fit a fridge. I don't appreciate how that ladder dominates the space.

I've always wanted a clothesline for my wet clothes to drip on my electronics that need the internet, and the ladder blocking the doorway to the toilet, magnificent. For some reason this place feels like an injury waiting to happen. All for the low cost of 400 a month! Yes, the architect was drunk. The way you set up the furniture is...about as good as it's going to get. At least the neighborhood is pretty.

But the shower room is tiny and the toilet room would be annoying to use. And where the emergency ladder?!?!?!? Usui-san, I was wondering if you could do a video explaining how you arrange and view the apartments. Do you meet someone there and they let you in? Do you pick up a key beforehand? I am curious. Ep. 40 is definitely not the one to end your journey on! The only good thing about this is that the toilet room door is not see through glass. Very happy that Usui-san is back after a brief delay.

Mailbox is nice. Tiny genkan. Initial left of the door next to genkan for sure need a skinny shelving unit to keep shoes. Possibly a hanging one.

Kitchenette is very tiny with no cutting space. Definitely will need to cut on a board over the sink. I like the drying rack above the sink. Very minimal storage on top of the sink as well. Might just use to keep some cups as well as plate, bowl and saucepan. Space beneath the induction burner might be good for keeping dry food, soap, and most notably ramen!

Tiny washer/dryer combo placement is good.

Nice tall door for the shower room. But shower room is so tiny! :(

Ladder obstructing the toilet sucks! :( Imagine waking up in the loft to go pee very bad and you get down the ladder and you have to move it to pee! :(

Toilet so cramped and no space for toilet paper!

Keep folded clothes on the shelves to the left, hanging clothes on the hangar, desk and chair next to the washer and dryer area, detergent and toiletries on top of the hangar space.

Nice window view from 2nd floor. Can see the sky! Already installed curtain railing is lovely. Loft space is super duper small with an angled wall. Not very good for larger people. Small person can have a good sized bed here. Likely needing a futon. Could have a beanbag chair and a projector to watch show on in that loft for sure.

Best type of person to live here would be someone smaller. Maybe a smaller woman at maybe 155 cm or shorter.
