I bet that tag shrinkage was from the dryer and not the OxiClean

I know this comment is a little late, seeing as this video was posted 10 months ago lol. The Oxi removed the moisture/oils built into the leather tag. Normally this process of the oils being removed from within the leather tags takes many many many years. It can happen eventually through continual washing and drying. That drying up is also what removed the printed "Paige" on the tag as well. I noticed this when I use it with my hands. It removes all the oils and moisture for weeks. I contacted Oxi-clean just to see if they knew of a product to help with this, plastic gloves lol. But they were the ones who told me about that and that it can remove oils from your hands, leather, etc. I hope this helps anyone watching this video in the future. Love you videos though Amanda!

I made the mistake and bought oxy thinking that's what I was using, yeah no, it was shout lol. I'll def stick to shout because I tried to rescue some denim rescues and yeah fail. I did sell majority to BST, kept a few (which is always a win! Lol) and only had 5 of 54 that are total losses.

I love oxyclean but have seen it ruin things. I had a friend who soaked a Matilda Jane dress I. It and it made it discolored in a lot of spots.

The list of unaccepted brands is a MILE long now! I will have to re-evaluate how I use Thredup because most of what I used to send it were now unaccepted brands. I can't say I didnt see it coming - they got so behind and couldnt catch up with all of us sending them our trash 😆 Gloria Vanderbilt is APPROVED lol I just looked up that one yesterday! I am curious to see if my outstanding partner kits are still ok to send the now unaccepted brands since I ordered them before the change? I just sent two out yesterday so I guess we will see!

The same thing happened to me with a pair of Madewell jeans thatI soaked in oxyclean!! I was so bummed ☹️ I kept them for myself. Totally feel your pain!

hi Amanda! Madewell really showed up for you in this box! The denim boxes have always made me a nice profit. Can't believe that happened to your Paige jeans. I just ruined a LaCross top with oxy. I just added dry oxy to the wash & it came out looking like it had been bleached dyed. It won't stop me from using oxy! Maybe just spot treat with oxy on denim that has leather patches. Wishing you speedy sales👍
