The Cinema EOS C70 is a new generation RF Mount Cinema EOS camera featuring Canon’s 4K Super 35mm DGO sensor. With High Frame Rate recording up to 120fps in 4K, internal 4:2:2 10-bit recoding and High Dynamic Range, it takes the RF System into a brand new era.

First time in 10 years I've been excited about a canon camera. They got the features and price right. Love the dual gain, the built in nd, the xlr, and the HEVC support. All with state of the art focus tracking using even legacy lenses. That's impressive.

So I guess this is their response to the BMPCC4K/6K. As an owner of the Pocket 4K, this honestly looks pretty awesome. Having that auto focus and built in ND is huge for a cinema camera of that size.

Kinda wish it had at least some support for raw as the price point competes directly with the RED Komodo. Although this is more versatile than the RED it’s still kinda weird that the R5 at least had RAW on their camera.

SDI output would’ve also been a nice touch too.

My question regarding the statement regarding using a manual lens but the auto focus assisting to assure the image stays sharp. How does the AF work with a manual lens? I preordered my camera! Will use the R5 as a second cam. I'm really excited about this c70
