It's Advent of Code time of the year again!

I decided to give it a try to record all my attempts at implementing the tasks and publishing recaps of these on this channel. In this episode I talk about what AoC is, show how I approached the tasks of the first day, and share some thoughts about how I would like to improve my workflow in the next 24 days.

This time I only messed up the camera settings and encoding, so we only have 1080p, but the next episodes will be back to 4K :)

I really like this format of first explaining the task, how to validate it, the implementation and then doing your own self-critique. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Cool idea of zipping the list with its tail to get type safety. Now I have to resist the refactoring urge 😱

Really cool idea for a series, looking forward to the next one. I would say there is no reason not to take some time to make code better after you are done with the solution, if your main goal is having some fun, after all everyone enjoys different things and as far as I'm concerned (and apparently you too), perfecting code after the logic is taken care of is one of those things I enjoy.
