OK, I have to tell this story. After my first child was born, my husband and I were sitting in a restaurant and we talked about this. We had the Trifecta of change. We had a new baby, she was only a week old.. He had a brand new job. We were staying in a bad motel in a new place looking for an apartment, and we had had a falling out with my parents. We both sat there and started crying. lol I was 21 and he was 23. This was great advice!!!! Love ya! Melissa

As the same goes, face the fear and do it any way....It takes time to deal with different situation. At times it is not easy but we must do it and face it. Be kind and patient with yourself and know it is ok to feel different emotions. It all come to pass and one day you look back and amaze yourself about how great you handle the process. ..Great subject my beautiful friend as

Times of change are inevitable. They can be bittersweet. Sometimes there are moments of regret or disappointment, I think that's what can make it difficult. When it comes to loss, getting through the pain is hard. Embrace the pain. Know that good times are ahead. Appreciate what you do have. Great chat Elle. Love you!!

Hi Elle, "bug splat" ....love your sense of humor. Wow, sky diving...that's courage with a capital "C". Love Mark’s comment about the plane. Excellent points especially "Embrace it like you chose it". That one resonates with me as we moved 13 times during our marriage and each one became an adventure and I became like silly putty when you mould yourself to fit your surroundings and then let go and relax and just be present. Had to work on Sunday but our customer tripled their normal Spring order and I felt so blessed.

I really love hearing your advice on life. You always give the best, most encouraging advice! :) I hadn't realized until a mother had told me that her daughter really looked up to me and wanted to be so much like me, and I think that was the first time I ever realized that there are people watching (even tiny ones!) and we are responsible to them as well. <3 I also love all the other steps, like not looking back, and embrace it as if you chose it. I do try to control my thoughts, and when they start to head in the wrong direction, such as looking back, I redirect them as best I can or distract myself with another activity if possible. I’m not a fan of change but I’ve had too many to count in my life. I’ve learned to embrace each one as it’s come as a new adventure. I appreciate all your reminders. Life isn’t always easy but it is an adventure and can be fun 💗

I love your 5th tip, I don't understand parents letting their kids know they feel bad about their moving on (to college, etc). I was always thrilled about my son's independent steps from the time he was tiny. It let me know he's going to be okay. Imo I think it may be a sign that the parent needs to branch out themselves:)

You must have ESP!! You have NO idea how much this helped me this morning... My daughter is having more surgery and she is very high risk. She’s had several life threatening complications from previous surgeries and honestly, I have been almost paralyzed with fear for short periods of time the past couple of days. Well - you just gave me something to focus on and DO and I absolutely can do these things. Once we get things rolling I’m fine but thank you for these tools and the great reminders behind each one. Great timing! I will soon tender my resignation. The misogynistic and toxic culture is so unhealthy. I'm angry that the only way I can keep any semblance of self-respect is to leave and thus lose my income. I know leaving is what is right for me and I am trying to get past the anger, but it's hard. Godd advice about not looking back. And what a good girl you are for stepping out the door and pulling that chute! I'm a licensed VFR private pilot and am working on getting back on an airplane next year. And I plan a skydive as well. Best to you always! 💖
