Seeing people hanging out, chilling to music and just being... happy - really makes me feel something, even if I'm not a part of it. It's one of those reaffirming vibes, like hey, maybe humans aren't so bad. Sometimes we get together and we just try to make sure everyone has a good time. That's what matters.

In case any young folks are curious, this is almost exactly what a weekend house hang was like in the 90s. Christmas lights, wall projector, someone on turntables... not a phone in sight (we didn't have them.) The only real differences are that the wall projector would probably be a group of people playing Mario Kart on the N64 and the turntables would be analog (records.) Otherwise... this scene is almost exactly what it was like on any random weekend in the late 90s at our apartment.
