My Munch: Fredrik Høyer on Evening. Melancholy

The writer Fredrik Høyer grew up in the area surrounding Åsgårdstrand, where Edvard Munch had his summerhouse. The scenery in Evening. Melancholy is easily recognisable to Høyer, but that is only one of many reasons he has a special relationship with this painting.
