I can't remember, have you done a video on how to make a drop shoulder into a not so dropped or not dropped shoulder? If not, would you include that on your video if you are going to do one for the Sienna you're making? So many ideas to look forward to!

Hi Whitney. Would you ever consider a sew-along for the Anna Allen P pants? I’ve been looking at this pattern for over a year but afraid to take the plunge. Like you I’m boxy at waist and afraid if fit issues. For boiler suits, I’m really liking the Ready To Sew Jean Paul Coverall. Really looking forward to this video series. ❤️🌵🇺🇸

I have 2 of the patterns you mention - the Yanuka (I absolutely LOVE this jacket pattern too!) and the Sienna. I'm definitely making up both of them once my eyes are fixed :) I would love it if you would do a sew-a-long with maybe even one of these? :) AND of course I had to hop over to order Leisl's blouse pattern. I don't know how that one escaped me. I ordered a couple of her new patterns including that Yanuka when she had that sale on a few months ago but for some reason that blouse pattern got missed. I do love the neck and sleeves! I typically do enjoy working with all of Leisl's patterns -that bust sizing is so appreciated :) They always fit really well - so perfectly drafted and explained. She's brilliant. Her blog is fantastic too. Thanks for another inspiring video Whitney!

I love watching your videos! Even though I live in Southern California, we wear winter clothes in the winter, just not so many layers! I, too, am looking forward to spring and making spring and summer clothes. I enjoy watching the alterations you make as I am also 5’2”, short waisted with narrow shoulders, although I don’t have a full bust. Keep these inspiration videos coming!

Great pattern selection! I went rushing off to see the Yanaka jacket as I have some black oriental print cotton sateen but it's an unlined jacket so I think the sateen would be too light. Maybe a sewalong to show how to add a lining....grovel, grovel? 🙂😁😁 Edit I just read your reply below that you are thinking of hacking a lining. Super happy, thank you!! Xxx

Spring is definitely in the air. The daffodils are out. Can’t remember those ever being so early. But after our one week of proper winter with snow and ice, I am ready for it. And automatically the sewing focus shifts to lighter fabric and brighter colours. Thank you for the inspiration 💕

I picked up that Vogue trench coat pattern when JoAnn's had the $5.99 sale a week or so ago. I'd had my eye on it for some time and now I get to do it with your sew along! YAY!
I really like that Lisel and Co jacket too. That may be showing up in my pattern stash.

I finished the Clementine top yesterday in lovely black and red silk. I ended up not putting the elastic in the sleeves as I felt the sleeves would be too short on me. But I really like it. Oops, I think I need the Fitzroy blouse and I have some lightweight linen. I wonder when I will get the chance to wear it!!!! We’re back in lockdown in NZ hopefully just for a very short time. Even so, sooo many clothes!

Hi Whitney! Love hearing your plans. I made the Yanaka Jacket in a cotton print and added welt pockets. It’s unlined and she recommends bias binding, and I am so glad that I did! It is an easy sew. Now I look forward to seeing which fabric you use!
