0:16 the old woman doing the cross sign is both ironic and hearthwarming

It had been a long time, but the red banner flew above Moscow once more. The city was in ruins thanks to the fighting against the Germans and their collaborators. Yet, in the midst of death and destruction, there was a moment of happiness that flowed through every heart. Russia's traditional city had been reclaimed from its hated foe and few could be prouder than the sons of the Great Patriotic War.

Soldiers flooded Red Square, admiring the last traces of architecture that was spared by the Nazis. Others scavenged for German banners to gather them into a single spot. Yet, there was one soul amongst millions who felt he had accomplished much.

Artyom unstrapped his helmet as he looked towards the Kremlin. His grandfather died in this city, sacrificing himself to stave off the advancing horde while his father gathered his family and fled east as much as possible. Tears flowed from his eyes, knowing full well that he continued a legacy, a fight worth giving a damn. Decades ago, he was just a helpless babe born underneath a black sun and now he was here to make his grandfather's dream fulfilled.

The soldier could barely scrounge up the words to express his joy that many other families and generations of soldiers had fought for, "Grandfather, your death was not in vain. We did it, we're home."

Epic video! Also I wanted to say you are especially a cool person because you take the time to like and comment on your viewers comments and not a lot of people do that.

For reference, there is also a Vietnamese version for this song (with practically the same lyrics), Damn shame that the song has been deleted from YouTube (presumably because of copy right)
