Fact 3 is actually incorrect, the higher they fall the more likely they land on their feet. It has something to do with terminal velocity, and the way they spread out their legs when they fall, they tank the damage and don't end up getting hurt.

Cats don’t like being wet. It’s not the water they dislike, but they don’t like their fur being wet, it feels gross to them. They may get trained to accept it but that doesn’t mean they like it. I’ve never ever seen a cat hanging out in the rain, they always hide

As a veterinarian son 68 years Young having been around animals from the day I came home from the hospital I can tell you you're basically correct. However there is a height in which cats are in peril. Falling from the 2nd floor to the 4th floor range usually creates most trauma. It is believed it's because of the most speed with the least amount of time to fully relaxed. Animals that fall further than the 4th floor suffer less injury than the animals from the 2 to 4 floors generally. This precludes ridiculous heights and obstacles on the way down. Go figure 😮 cats are just amazing, big or house cats.
P.S. I've had😊 several cats I've had to lock out of the bathroom to get a decent shower or bath ALONE. I leave the shower on for them to take their own shower 😹🤣, Burmese cats go figure.

Thank you for explaining about cats purring when in pain. One of our cats had feline AIDS. He was purring when we took him to the vet to be put down at the end. We believe he caught AIDS in a fight. He was a tough guy, unless it was raining. I had to carry him inside under the umbrella! 😸

From a vet friend of mine only 60% of cats are lactose intolerant they have no problem drinking milk from cows and goats it’s processed milk They have problems with.

I heard of the milk one a long time ago then i kinda forgot... There was the cat that came outside our apartment door often. Then once i saw her with her kittens and the were were calling out and looking at me.... I wanted to feed them but didn't have anything to feed them so i gave them some milk. They gobbled it up so fast i was amazed. So i gave them more.... They drank and sat by the stairs until someone came and they left. When my sister yelled at me that cats were lactose intolerant and you shouldn't give them milk I remembered I heard it somewhere. I don't know why I forgot... I regret it to this day.
I didn't see the cats anywhere again, because others kept complaining about stray cats so they prevented the cats from coming up the building again. I really really hoped nothing happened to them.
