Wonder Woman wanted to remove Batman because he had contingency plans for everyone and she saw it as distrustful. But Batman even has a contingency plan to stop hisself. It’s wise to be prepared for anything and everything.

The first part alone should have been the only argument you need, you need a Superman caliber hero to POTENTIALLY put her down. Otherwise she could literally level countries like they were play things. The funny part is, the contingency plan is basically “just let her burn herself out, she can’t kill all of us”.
