McAllen ISD Extra Credit podcast No. 6: Transportation

This is McAllen ISD's sixth episode of Extra Credit, a podcast where students ask the questions and take a deep dive into various programs and offerings at McAllen ISD.

In this show, high school student Ollie Perez sits down with Mr. Ed Barnhart, the Director of Transportation in McAllen ISD. The district more than 80 school buses which run 63 daily routes, taking students to and from their school. There are also many field trips and athletic trips that our school buses handle each week, getting kids to their destination safely. Each bus is equipped with many safety features and our drivers undergo rigorous training to make each trip as safe as possible.
