Tree frogs in Denmark

The European tree frog is very rare in Denmark and has been extinct in the western part of Sjælland for some time. In order to reintroduce this species to this part of the country the Danish military together with the local county has done a great job in one of their exercise areas. The environment has been turned into an excellent tree frog habitat. Now it is again possible to listen to the tropical sound of the tree frog in the Danish summer nights.
