I Will Early Seek the Saviour | Songs and Everlasting Joy

What a precious song this is! I had forgotten about it and saw it in my hymnal when flicking through yesterday. It ties in all the lovely truths from childhood - "Jesus loves me this I know" and speaks of putting Him first each day. It has helped in a current challenge I'm having with scheduling and fitting everything into my day. I simply have to early seek the Saviour. May we all put Him truly first and accept the help He has offered to do this.

He is standing at the doorway of escape from every sin,
I will knock, for He has promised, He will hear and let me in.

What a blessed Saviour we have!

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." Matthew 7:7.

I hope you're all in the mood for a simple hymn today. I had plans to put harmonies and other instruments, but after one power outage where my recording wasn't yet saved, I decided to do it quickly and simply so I didn't lose any more work!

Oh, what a precious hymn! How sweet is Jesus’ love toward us. I enjoyed listening to this after reading the Bible this morning.
