Bleeding with Pooping?

Bleeding when pooping is alaming! Blood in your poop can mean many different things - ranging from hemrroids, to fissures, infections, polyps, and even cancer. Bleeding when you poop can be painful. But at other times, your bowel movement can seem perfectly normal, until you notice the blood. While many causes are common, others are very concerning. Distinguishing causes often requires a colonoscopy. Therefore, you may need to talk with your GI team about having a colonoscopy.
