Wow, I’m a person who has lived in a cottage for my whole life. The house is over 150 years old and we even found a horse shoe embedded in my wall when we knocked it down. I didn’t realise there was a fan base thing for cottages lol. I can see the appeal but I guess since I’ve always lived in one I can easily focus on the downsides like damp and size.
