How to sniff Modbus data with Serial Port Monitor?

It does not sniff as expected, still need to run a terminal window in the background to sniff the data through the com port and this just watches data going through the pc com port. Also does not differentiate request response in modbus view or show the full modbus message as well as translated.

Doesn't seem to be sniffing RS485. I can see the data flashing on the wires but nothing appearing in the sniffer...

Totally instable tool. Crashes after a few scanned addresses. Please fix it. The tool itself has great potential!
