Spanish ship Victoria successfully circumnavigated the world in 1522 | Today in History

On September 6, 1522, The "Victoria" becomes the first ship to circumnavigate the world when it returned to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Spain. It was the only surviving ship of Ferdinand Magellan’s expedition.
