With this Corvette ZR1, GM did more than just raise the bar they obliterated it! 1064 HP on pump gas, 215+ MPH top speed, quarter mile in under 10 seconds all with no hybrid system or EV batteries to weigh it down or complicate things, while passing emissions and all with a factory warranty and you can drive it to the supermarket to get some groceries, IN THE HEAT with the A/C on! And then there is that glorious sound! This not only represents the pinnacle GM & Corvette but this represents the pinnacle of internal combustion engine technology. We are talking more HP than the Bugatti Veyron in a car that will cost a fraction of the Veyron's $1.23 MILLION starting price. That is even more power than Bugatti's brand new V16 engine alone! First .The stingray with a Pushrod V8 with blistering acceleration...Second ..the ZO6 with a screaming 8600 rpm flatplane N/A V8 .And now..this ZR1 with a high revving ..TT V8 with a 1064 hp...The C8 Corvette is a serious weapon

Really sad to see Tadge retire but he's done so much for Corvette not only as a model, but as a brand. He represents the turning point for Corvette as a competitor for European exotics and I've been watching his press releases since the C5 days. I hope they give him a really nice retirement gift!

In 20 years we gone from a W16 Bugatti that’s a million bucks to now a corvette having 1064hp from factory that’s probably gonna be like $200k since the Z06 fully loaded is around there.
