Hitchcock's Simple Rule for BETTER Filmmaking
Показать описание
What is Hitchcock's Rule? Alfred Hitchcock says that "The size of an object in the frame should equal its importance in the story at that moment."
Therefore, if you have random close ups of things that are not important to the story, it has a negative effect in your story telling. The Larger your character or prop in a shot the more important it is in the story at that time.
Hitchcock's Rule is an important aspect in learning the language of film and a great rule for filmmakers. Remeber Rules are meant to be broken, if you have a justifiable reason to not follow this rule don't.
