Weight- It is the force acted by gravity.
Note :- Mass is constant but weight may very from place to place 🌀

In 11th class, they will study kilogram weight
The weight weighing machine shows is not mass. It's actually kilogram weight or kilogram- force
kilogram force (kgf) is defined as the force exerted on a body by their home planet/ weight of body on that planet

One kgf is amount of mass multiplied by acceleration due to gravity on the planet
A body of mass 1kg would have a weight of 9.8 kgf on earth

And say if weighing machine shows your weight 45kg.
It's not mass it's actually 45 kgf. Generally for simple terms, we omit the 'f'.

Since kgf= mass × acceleration due to gravity

45kgf = mass * 9.8
45/9.8 = mass
~ 4.6 kg = mass



Believe me guys, students get really confused on this topic. Thinking if weighing machine shows mass or weight and if it shows mass then why is it called "weighing machine"?

I was indeed confused in class 9 as well

But the answer is weighing machine shows weight just the unit is kilogram-force

Weight of 1kg mas is 9.8 kgf on earth

Mass of 1kgf is 0.1 kg

Gravity = 9.8 newton
Weight= Mass × gravity
Weight= 40 kg × 9.8 n
Weight= 392 kg n

Sir but weighing machine to weight calculate karti h, uske hisab se humara mass weight/9.8 hua ... If we take weighing machine on moon then it will show less readings than on earth because our mass is constant everywhere but the acceleration due to gravity on moon is less than earth.

Sir how to manage time in class 10 for our own self studies because I didn't have time to do my self studies
7 - 2 is school timming after 2 : O'clock I need a little rest for my mind than attending your all classes and then only 30-40 minutes I have time to do my self studies and then I have dinner after that do my school work but sometimes in school I finish my work and then something like 12:30 or 1:00 I m going to sleep and this cycle goes on 😔

this is the 1st video among 6-7videos seen who is giving the exact value of gravity i.e 9.8kg/mt.
otherwise they all are giving it as 10kg.

W= 47×10 :: [ g = 10 m/s -2 ]
W= 470 N
