The short online session is designed to help you become more knowledgeable about Google and Google Scholar. By the end of the session participants will be better able to:

• Identify the different databases available in the Google family
• Explain the difference between Google and Google Scholar
• Compare Google Scholar coverage with subscription databases coverage
• Identify some of the issues around using Google and Google Scholar for literature searching
• Use search commands for Google and Google Scholar.
