George Benson Solo Transcription from Jorge Dalto's 1983 release "Rendez-vous." The solo features some amazing Afro Cuban Latin Jazz Guitar playing by none other than GEORGE(!!). The Master phrases perfectly to the style while still keeping some serious JAZZ sensibilities. Why didn't he didnt continue to record in a completely Afro Cuban Puerto Rican NYC format is unbelievable.....
Notice how George plays the same motivic content as his solo on "Old Devil Moon" recorded in 1977. Interesting, right?
