Handsome Audio 'ZULU' on Drums with Mike Avenaim

Slamming some Drums through the Handsome Audio "ZULU" passive tape simulator. This thing is pretty wild and I highly recommend checking it out. It's super versatile and can be implemented in any musical situation.

Keep in mind - The unit is passive, so it does require some clip gaining depending on how you decide to use it. The dirty settings need more gain in post. Small price to pay for awesomeness!!!

Inside there is a 2 foot loop of GP9 tape running at 7.5 ips and NOS Ampex ATR-102 tape head sourced from the last remaining supply at an old Ampex repair facility.
