It's a good phone, I have one and use it in the US with T-Mobile as well as in Europe with SFR. But, it doesn't have a gyroscope, which is a problem to use with a virtual reality glasses set as the phone will not detect the vertical positioning of your head and not center the image accordingly. Rugged phones in general are also too thick for the VR standard slots. Other than that, no problem.

For the video/audio files that won't play, just download VLC from the Google store. VLC can play any media file you throw at it.

What size micro sd card is permitted in the phone? Some say 32 GB some say 128 GB.
