From what I understand, the Nightmare Critters are a side antagonist and not the main antagonist. Kinda like how the Mini Smiling Critters were in Chapter 3.
However, I think these Nightmare Critters were used for disposing of Employees who know too much, like Boxy Boo.

It’s funny how some people don’t realize that the nightmare critters are not the main antagonist of the chapter. It’s just a placeholder similar to the mask. In chapter 3 was a placeholder before it was replaced with catnap

Coffee is symbolic of energy, but also irritation. Too much caffeine can leave you feeling burned out instead of invigorated, also making you irritated. Just some food for thought as to Icky Licky's personality: he's a spoiled sport with a bad temper ready to pin the blame on others instead of accepting his own shortcomings.

I wonder, with how weird Catnap feels compared to the others, could he have originally been a Nightmare critter who was moved to be with the others? With 2 out of the 4 current known nightmare critters being lazy (Baba Chops could be considered lazy), having someone who only wants everyone to sleep could fit right in.

3:icky licky could be camouflaged somewhere around the map or will be a mini game where u have to spot him and when u finish some rounds he’ll probably say “you cheated” or anything like that and will chase u around the map

I'm assuming the in Cannon use of the Nightmare critters was that they were foils for the smiling critters kinda like the how the in older cartoons they always had the bad guys.

icky: scent = coffee = caffeine ; meaning hes caffeinated energetic. ready for a challenge! he likes racing and what does coffee do whats it kicks in? makes you go!
rabie baby: scent = bubblegum when you GOSSIP or eavesdrop you can get into a STICKY situation
baba: scent: = Anise = Swamp star anise = HIGHLY toxic to humans there's other types of anise can cause sickly symptoms or even death

C - could be a cobra or snake (or gator?🤔) maybe a red komodo dragon

he 2 Ts could be iguanas or any animal that can work in pairs

Getters are know to be stealth but dangerous and can also grab a limb from its prey, creating a death spin that also drowns the prey at the same time. (Same with crocs).

Black sheeps are known to be the outcast to the other sheeps, which could explain on why Baba always wants her space due to the fact that her herd had casted away due to her wool color.

Icky is a poison frog from the rain forest, which if you ever touch those frogs will lead to death, which also explains his tag beside his personality.

Rabie is a vampire bat that only drinks blood from other animals, which is why her tag represents a blood drop. There are also some bats that eat bugs or fruits.

Nightmare Critters are not the main antagonist. It was already confirmed that there would be multiple villains + the main villain. The Nightmare Critters are the first reveal for the the multiple villains.

I would assume Icky Licky is a Salamander or some lizard and for the four character were missing, i assume they MIGHT be our allies they talked about.
