Haval H3 is another new addition to GWM vehicle line-up in Russia, fitting between Haval Jolion and Haval Dargo models. It is an off-road capable crossover that looks tougher and larger than Haval Jolion, but is a bit smaller than Haval Dargo and a lot smaller than Haval H9.

Dimitri, another great review. I prefer this to the Jolion - it has some really good features and styling. There are somethings I don't like about it such as the lack of boot curtain/parcel shelf, DCT, no rear wiper and a few others, but overall a interesting and somehow unique design. I do hope it comes to Australia.

Interesting, thanks for the review translation. I believe them regarding the aerodynamics required to keep the rear window clean.
Also ladder frame or monocoque is a comparison that once had validity but with better structural design capabilities and improved metal alloys, I think the differences pale to insignificant these days. The only difference is in marketing hype. Great video again, thank Dimitri.

Great review, Dimitri
But I don't think much of this suv, to many missed opportunities to capture the market here in Australia. Far to many suv's with far better designs and performance. Haval has missed the boat on this one.

Sound system might be unnecessary for you, but it’s the best sounding system in this price range car.

Can you do a video on car sales, like the top selling cars in Russia right now and which companies/brands they are. Like do a comparison 2022 vs 2023. Thanks

There’s no Apple CarPlay support at the moment. It was promised to come with a software update later in November.

Hi, what's the name of your friend's channel that does all the reviews of the car? I want to subscribe it as well.

The Haval cars look great and are likely good value for the money, but I find their seats much less comfortable compared to their competitors.

I would rather go for HAVAL H9 or tank 700 if I were in Russia

led front lights, i do not like at all imho, Jolion i would never buy that is why i have a h6.
i doubt this car will have a future in australia even if it lands in australia
1.2l is a joke imho

It's a "meh" car. I doubt it would tickle anyones fancy here unless it was the cheapest car on the market. I'm personally hoping for a 7 seater option from GWM ala Kluger like the H9 and would love it if they brought their V6 here as anything with a battery doesn't interest me.

I don’t like the front end and the back thing sticking out the back door looks like a big lunch box

From what I have seen in China these small SUVs are really only being produced for the Russian market which is a big market now that the Russians have trouble getting vehicles elsewhere. The Chinese themselves don't really go for this style of vehicle their preferences seem to be big 4WDs, luxo people movers, and super sleek sedans. The sedans are everywhere and mostly look fantastic. They make the bulbous Teslas (plenty of them around too) look old fashioned.
The other thing that makes me tend to think these little SUVs are being made for Russia only is the janky quality. The quality of the domestic cars is amazing and the prices are high. I think the Russian cars are being made to a price which is always bad news.

I think they are making things way to complicated. They run the risk of confusing the market. I want a city car (petrol or EV). I live in the country and want a long distance family car, fossil fuel thanks, if possible. I tow a shite tonne of stuff or go out and climb cliffs every day and want something beefy and 4 WD . As much as I adore my H6 this new marketing strategy seems desperate. Just pick a few key markets ( I would say 3) and make your vehicles the best in every one. Stop faffing around with variants that no-body wants
