INDALO: Crafts from Eswatini | A Collaboration Between European Designers and Swati Artisans

INDALO has two meanings in siSwati: « nature » and « to create. »

This collective of craft artisans from hashtag #Eswatini and European designers showcases objects created with sustainable natural materials. At the heart of the INDALO exhibition is a desire to showcase Eswatini culture and beauty, sustainable, natural materials, and fresh, cutting edge design for the modern market.

Organized by the International Trade Centre’s Alliances for Action and funded by the European Union Delegation to Eswatini, this exhibition centered around traditional skills and culture from the Southern African country.
