Diablo III - Crispy Critters [Achievement Guide]

I think its about time for a barbeque. Lets see how these critters taste fried up on their own hell-fire. Hhmmm, chicken. Always chicken.

The mobs required for this achievement are called 'Tormented Stingers' and can spawn when you break an Infernal Cocoon or when you approach a Hell Bringer. If they spawn while approaching a Hell Bringer, 5 will spawn together.

To get credit for the achievement, 3 Stingers have to die to the same tick of the fire from the Hell Forge. If 4 or 5 die together, this may upset the Forge and you won't get your achievement. No one likes to waste food.

I resorted to beating them down to 20-30 health, then dragging them into the path of fire. This got me the achievement as each Stinger died to the very first tick of fire.

I hope you have some good luck with spawning these little blighters and can grill them perfectly on your first go.

Thanks for the video. I was frustrated they weren't all dying at the same time so I took off a lot of my gear and beat them til they were low. Thanks!

If you attempt this on Normal, the hell forges kill the stingers in one full usually. I took off my thorns, found a hellbringer, brought the five to the forge and let it do it's business. I got it done on the second try within five minutes in tower of the damned. Thanks for the vid!

You can find "Battlefield Reports" in The Battlefield now (right outside Arreat Gate). A guard will be laying on the ground somewhere with a blue exclamation point over him. Out of 10 games this spawned 10 times, so it should be really easy to get now.

Just done this 1st attempt found a hell bringer in tower of the dammed lvl 1 ran in the middle of the forge and done thank you for the help

I just did this after years of trying I was on adventure mode and a level 8 or 9 character and I got it in The Heart of The Damned .

Did it with 6 Tormented Stingers, still worked for me... just keep trying...
