Hello! I’m Karina from your Live on Tik Tok. You asked me to answer your question on why Bulgarians say that Russians and many other countries are using our althabet and why we say that it’s ours. First off, it’s a great question that people always argue about. Here is my opinion. Since Bulgarians created the althabet that many countries like Russia, Macedonia and Serbia use, we want to “get credit” for it. Now, Bulgarians created the althabet but many countries changed it a little and said that it’s theirs and they have their own. That’s not true though. Bulgarians created the althabet and then everybody else started using it. That’s why many Bulgarians get upset when other countries say that they created their own althabet, when in reality they just took ours and changed it a little bit so it looks “original”. However, I respect every country and I can just giving information. Hope that answered your question! :)

The letter P in Portuguese is R but sounds exactly like your P when in the beginning of a word but in the end is rolled, similar to English. República sound the same in Portuguese and Russian
