It features a saxophone solo by Branford Marsalis as well as laughter from Janet Jackson and René Elizondo Jr. near the end of the song. To date, "I Love Your Smile" is Shanice's best known and most successful hit.

my mother used to make me sing this song for her and her friends when i was a lil girl in the 90s. I had alil dance to it too. I was so happy..the music was fun and a vibe back then 😁😊✨ i was overjoyed when this song came on the radio...i learned the words QUICKLY. I was 2/3 yrs old when this song came out.
