Congrats 🤝to all the officers of Indian Air force who participate in the show on the occasion of celebrating 92nd Indian air force day. As a tambaram resident i had a request to IAF to extend the runway of tambaram Air force. This help this training base to became operational base and helps frequent flooding Chennai in the time of natural calamities and in the time of any threat to the nation. Even in this Airshow small fighters like Tejas could not able to land in tambaram Base and flying away from Coimbatore to participate in this show. This is the first time I see Suryakiran was stationed in arrokanam naval base for a decade the suryakiran will only stationed in tambaram base for any event. IF the run way is extended it can stations fighter planes like tejas or sukhoi. which will also save fuel.

Dont get me wrong, i love the effort and respect our airmen but this event was a complete disaster in terms of planning the flights were late for their performance (but that can also be excused) the people had to sit under the hot sun and had to watch the sky which was too glaring and made it impossible to look at the planes. we had to buy unnecessary food just to get a place under the small tarps. it was too tireing and I was almost crushed by the crowd when we were returning from the beach I was astonished to see lack of control of the crowd by the policemen. It was nonetheless a great effort by our airforce but I just want to express my concern about this matter.
