Welcome to Metropolitan United Church in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Looking at the beginning of the second pastoral letter to Timothy, we encounter a young person with plenty of family support for his faith life... and yet he seems to be drifting away. In Rev. Meyers' sermon this week, "This Is Us Doing Faith", we explore the intergenerational nature of church, and how the “Faith of our Mothers and Fathers" is changing in these days of spiritual pluralism.

Prelude: Various (W. A. Mozart)
Readings: Lamentations 1:1-6, 3:19-26; 2 Timothy 1:1‒14; Luke 17:5‒10
Sermon: “This is Us Doing Faith" (Rev. Jason Meyers)
Anthems:
Give me Jesus (trad. Spiritual, arr. Hairston)
Ave verum corpus (W.A. Mozart)
Offertory Duet: Panis Angelicus (Bonis)
Postlude: Toccata in F major (Grison)

All are welcome to receive the sacrament of Communion at Metropolitan United Church. The elements for in-person Communion will be gluten free bread and grape juice. If you will be participating online, please have some bread or a cracker and a beverage on hand.

The cornerstone of our week, worship at 11am is offered in-person and online under the leadership of The Rev. Jason Francis Meyers, The Rev. Mark Aitchison, Minister of Music Dr. Jonathan Oldengarm, Wayne C. Vance Organ Scholar Joshua Duncan Lee, carillonneur Roy Lee and the Metropolitan Choir.
