Intresting Fact about DaVinci Resolve: The term 'Film Bins' in editing software has roots in old-school film editing. Back in the day, editors would physically cut film strips with razors, then hang each clip by its sprocket holes on hooks attached to a rack over a large bin. This setup kept the long film strips organized and off the floor. These ‘bins’ became essential for organizing shots, and editors could roll them around the studio as needed. Editing desks were huge machines, where film pieces were cut and reassembled with special tape that had matching sprocket holes. Sound was managed separately on synchronized magnetic tape rolls. Multiple tracks were edited, but only two could be played back together until the final mix, which involved syncing several machines at once. Imagine the patience and skill it required—editing was a true art form

Editing on my phone is quick and easy, and I've gotten really good at it, but I really need to take my editing to the next level but I've always found Desktop editing softwares a bit daunting. I've decided to try again, so thank you for putting out this video.

Before we start, I have an amd card. And I'm not saying "use Nvidia cards" here, they have their own problems. But if Davinci crashes on you when you drag and drop footage into a timeline, it could be your amd driver. Adrenalin 24 simply doesn't work with davinci 19 as of today for me. I had to downgrade to 23.3 I think. Just in case someone is wondering as well as I had to try this to find out.
Black magic really needs to fix their software, it's not the first time Davinci acts up for no reason at all.

I've learned that DaVinci is quite difficult for beginners like me. It's better to start with some simpler software like CapCut. After that, one can easily adapt to this. Thanks for the tutorial.
