I have to say that Taro Yamada had a lot of nerve talking to a killer that’s in front of him instead of stopping or run away XD

I'm honestly unsure why fighting with the delinquents in front of senpai gets you an ending.
They'll fight over the stupidest of reasons.
It's illogical to assume Ayano was the one who started it or that she started it on purpose.

I think instead of an ending it could be used as a way to manipulate Taro.
He sees a Delinquent fighting Ayano and assumes that the Delinquent started it.
He then scolds the delinquent for picking a fight with someone for no reason.
The delinquent doesn't care and just says "whatever" and walks away
Taro then turns to Ayano and asks if she's ok.

Given what we know about Ayano being in Senpai's aura she might not be able to say much, but at least a simple nod or a "T-thank y-you Senpai" before running away. Maybe she's embarrassed or maybe she thinks she almost got caught.
But this event would alter the way Taro sees Ayano. Perhaps he will be less suspicious towards her actions now because he sees her as a harmless girl who seems to be the victim of fights or bullying.

But the other side to having this as a benefit would be that if Ayano is doing other suspicious things when the fight happens (Having blood on her, carrying a weapon, visibly insane or if the reason the delinquent is fighting the player is because they saw her murder someone.) Then senpai will resort to the line that describes whatever other suspicious action she's doing while fighting with the delinquents.

Also, just like with the student council, where if you bump into them one too many times they pepper spray you, if you fight in front of senpai one too many times he will start to be suspicious of you and think that perhaps you really did start the fights, and that would definately get you a game over.
