I have been playing since pre alpha 1 and its been fun and fine but in the last month my interest has skyrocketed, literally can’t wait to play every day and having a blast. Feels like the old days of smite again

I like the feel of smite 2 I’m just bored with the only two modes being arena and conquest. The core game play is good but it’s just hard to adjust to the new systems when you run into the same thing every game. Arena is anti snowball and conquest is too snowball for playing with my friends who never liked conquest anyway

Since the patch with Sobek and Ra my experience and interest with the game has gone up. The game is very exciting to root for and see how it does come the official release. I'm mainly a joust/assault player, but I've put my focus on enjoying the gameplay as much as possible whilst trying to grind my few gods I really like to level 10. Not worried for the future state of smite 2 at all, except for the console players who haven't upgraded yet. I was in their same position whether it was for financial reasons or the need/want to upgrade to the ps5. I found myself fortunate enough to eventually get a ps5 this year. I will admit I was not hopeful and some might even say "toxic" in other videos about the smite 2 before, but I've completely 180.

My cons with the game are because of my nostalgia for smite 1. I don't like the 1 relic slot, which is substituted by having 'active' items. I don't like active items because there literally isn't enough buttons for efficient active items in settings lol. I'm practically playing out a mortal kombat combo if I'm using 3 actives, a relic, and my abilities if I dump them all in a fight. A funny con I have is there isn't enough time to enjoy looking at players card art before the game starts (ridiculous i know, but true lol). The worshiper grind after level V is not ideal. I have a mouse icon dead center of my screen every time I load up smite 2, which i know is being addressed, but feels so wrong to see. And that about sums up my cons. Everything else is good imo. Beyond excited for joust mainly and future gods.

My psn is Samuraiswishers if you want to add me for whatever reason, to play, to shit talk, or to check my stats. Lastly, the Titan Talks might be my guilty pleasure. The lay offs were extremely saddening to hear about because those were actual people with real lives and families, so as unfortunate as it was I still hope the best for everyone involved.

Do you think maybe one or 2 Smite 2 free alpha weekends would help them show where the game got?
Since I think even people who bought the founders pack and tried the game before would probably try it, expecting an influx of new people (whether because of them hoping to pub stomp or better match making).

Smite 2 is good but I still need my gods in the game. 6/10 of my top 10 are in or coming soon, but I still need awilix, artemis, chary, and a few more to play 24/7

I had to drop it since it stutters a lot on my and my friends' pc's, I hope they stabilize the game a bit more. Our rigs aren't the top monster PCs but they were peak at their time.

i think a lot of people are not going to change to smite 2 because of performance.

smite 2 runs really bad and it feels not optimized, is better then it was in the weekends, but it still feels horrible on lower end pc, and a lot of people are not going to buy a new pc to play smite since most people i know play really casually and have no problem switching to another game, which is a shame, but maybe they can optimize it more.

Until they add the same Colorblind Features that are in Smite 1, I’m not touching Smite 2 again.

I love everything they are doing and I’m super stoked to play it. But having the health bars be green for teammates and red for enemies makes the game nearly impossible for me to play.

Without this colorblind setting, I end up attacking my own minions or my own teammates because I can’t tell the colors apart😭

I believe the game is in a wonderful state and im happy to see them grind out the shit show that became their situation. My only criticism is that we don't have a build system yet. Seeing them put the store back to the original state for consoles has saved me alot but giving me the ability to make a custom build that i can set to the store like smite 1 saves me the panic of trying to remember items. Especially when items come and go and become disabled so frequently. Even more so for people like me who are returning to smite from who knows when. Item builder much needed

I bought the game right away but I really struggled to get into It in pre-apha. Yesterday I tried it again and it improved A LOT it finally feels exactly like smite 1 but with improved graphics and engine. I hope people will come back

Only High Rez can manage to shoot themselves in the foot before a race. Probably the most piss poor managed gaming company, in the history of gaming. Judging by the numbers, the players and fans are done.

I’m having a ton of fun on smite 2, especially when I get my boys onto play. I’m a causal only on Smite 2 but thinking about hitting the ranked q’s cause none of my games are close.

The main thing for me that'll really get me into smite two is obviously when my mains get added so hopefully they're in the wave of the first few gods added before they hit 50 as it would suck if i gotta wait a while before any of the characters i really enjoy playing get added and u gotta settle for others

The lack of gods is really damning and the new ones come at a much slower pace than initially anticipated.

Their tournaments so far gather a ridiculous amount of attention they barely have 150 viewers. The whole thing seems unsustainable.

Gameplay has improved massively, god pool isnt as boring, and bugs have been fixed. My only issue at the moment is how bored i get while playing the game. I can only play about 2 hours before i get bored. We just need more content and more items

Hot take AA builds are dominating metta. which sucks cause theres like 2 AA builds. it could be just me or balancing. but most of the ability gods just dont do nearly enough damage. compared to just going AA. and doesnt help most gods released getting some form of AA in thier kit to force metta that way

My friends and I have played for years on the casual side, arena on smite 2 on console just isn't doing anything for us. There's no reason to play this over smite when smite 1 feels so polished and this still feels so rough. Main points for concern are that it doesn't feel like moves hit with as much impact and the UI is so jarring and unfinished compared to smite 1. Appreciate that this is an alpha though and things will only keep getting better!

I really wish I could play S2 consistently like I used to do with S1, but it hardly functions on my laptop by comparison
