One thing that I've always found improved the handling of my Panasonic bodies was an aluminum "thumbs up" style grip that slips into the hot shoe. Plenty of versions available on Amazon and Ebay.

Just bought the GX-9 used with only 113 shutter count. It came with both the 12-32 kit lens and the LUMIX extension grip. Like new, it cost me a whopping US$355! Great deal for such a nice kit....I am very pleased with this GX-9. The access port on the after-market grip as shown in the video is a big advantage IMO over the OEM grip.
